What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a link to a retailer or brand that pays the linking site a commission if a reader later buys a product — at no extra cost to the reader. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use the link.
How commissions work
If we add affiliate links, commissions would be paid by retailers and brands through affiliate networks and would help support the research and fact-checking that goes into our guides. We never charge readers, and we never accept payment to feature or rank a product.
They don’t influence our recommendations
Our recommendations are decided by our editorial team based on research against manufacturer documentation, certifications, and reputable sources. Affiliate relationships would not affect what we choose to cover or how we assess it. If a product isn’t worth buying, we’ll say so — even if it pays a commission.
How to spot an affiliate link
